I joined PSA Financial Services Ltd in 2020 as Operations Manager. Prior to joining the company, I delivered service solutions and growth benefits in a variety of customer centric industries; Legal, Customer Services and more recently Health and Social care - predominantly leading people and organisations through expansion and process changes that improve the customer experience.   

 

Being able to make a difference in people’s lives has been a fundamental driving force throughout my career, and has kept me focused on what is most important - client experience, through outstanding service. 

 

I am married with four children and three grandchildren, all of whom are simply brilliant.

Colin Reid

I joined PSA Financial Services in 2019, having previously worked extensively within the financial services industry. I am currently a member of the CII Society of Mortgage Professionals, Personal Finance Society, and the Chartered Banker Institute.

As Financial Planning Manager – a role which forms part of the Senior Management team – I have over-arching responsibility for our family of Financial Planners and Mortgage Advisers. At PSA, we foster a highly professionally progressive, functional operation, within a friendly, ethically prioritised environment, founded on a company ethos entirely focused on client needs and satisfaction, predicated on achieving best possible outcomes on an ongoing business relationship.

 

I’m a family man with two teenage children. Outside work I enjoy keeping fit and I also like to travel.

I have extensive experience in the financial industry, having worked in financial services since 1997 and have been with PSA Financial Services Ltd since 2018.

​After graduating from the University of Sheffield in 1996, I went on to gain the diploma in financial planning.

 

I have spent much of my financial services career as a paraplanner, specialising in product research and suitability report writing.  I was head of Paraplanning at PSA until early 2020 when I moved over to lead the Compliance department.

I joined PSA Financial Services Ltd in 2020 as a Compliance Officer.

I have over 40 years’ experience in the financial services industry. This includes roles in banking, mortgage adviser, independent financial adviser, training and supervisor roles.

 

I completed my Advanced Diploma with the Chartered Insurance Institute, and I am a qualified Chartered Financial Planner. I am a qualified member of the Society of Mortgage Professionals including Equity Release. I have also completed my associateship for the Chartered Institute of Bankers. 

 

Outside of work I am passionate about walking. I have completed 8 long distance walking trails including the Wainwright 192 mile Coast to Coast walk to raise money for LOROS.

I started working at PSA shortly after I graduated from DeMontfort University in the summer of 2019.

I currently work in compliance, supporting our Training and Competence scheme via file reviews. I also do ad hoc research and reports to aid ongoing Compliance projects.  

I have passed the first three R0 exams and am progressing on getting my Diploma in Financial Planning.

I joined PSA Financial Services Ltd in February 2019 having worked in the Financial Services Industry since 1995, predominantly within Discretionary Fund Management, and more recently Self Invested Personal Pensions.

 

I am educated to A-Level standard and my industry qualifications include the Financial Planning Certificate I, II, and III. I joined the Paraplanning Team in February 2021. I aim to further enhance my existing knowledge, both practical and technical and improve my written skills, within this busy department. I have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to understand a client’s financial needs, provide research and produce clear, written communication to support our Financial Advisers

I joined PSA Financial Services Ltd in 2022 having worked in financial services for over 20 years in both administrative and paraplanning positions.  Having obtained Financial Planning Certificates 1, 2 & 3 a number of years ago, I am now re-starting my studies aiming for the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. I have recently achieved a Certificate in Financial Services (CertPFS) and am now working towards the Diploma.

I have two children who utilise the majority of my spare time, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

I joined PSA Financial Services Ltd in 2022 as Mortgage Paraplanner, supporting the mortgages team. I am CeMAP qualified (Mortgage advice and practice) and have many years’ experience within the industry in mortgage, life and home insurance administration. 

 

I am happily married with 3 energetic boys.  We all love to holiday together at our caravan in Norfolk.  In my very limited spare time, I enjoy crafting and making personalised gifts.

I have a degree in Business and Financial Services, and have completed my level 4 Diploma in Financial Advice.  I am looking to further my studies to achieve chartered status, with my long-term aim to become an adviser.

 

In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, playing sports, travelling, and spending time with my family and friends.

I joined PSA Financial Services Ltd in 2022 and I have 11 years’ experience in the financial services sector.  I graduated from Loughborough University with a BSc(Hons) and am also a qualified Teacher gaining my PGCE at Nottingham Trent University.  I hold the CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
 
I commenced my financial services career working for a SIPP provider and later moved into financial planning, having held positions in administration and paraplanning.  I am the Training and Development Lead for the support departments at PSA, as well as a Paraplanner. 
 
Outside of work I enjoy being outdoors.  I have a range of hobbies including open-water swimming, yoga, and walking.

I started my financial services journey working in a technical banking dept. for Prudential, after graduating in Applied Chemistry; I didn’t fancy working in laboratories…


Having been a financial adviser for many years I now focus my expertise on solving technical financial problems for PSA clients. With a plethora of experience, financial knowledge, and qualifications, I’m suited to finding solutions to clients that work not just now but in the long term. I love engaging with clients as it’s only when we listen and understand that we can perfectly tailor our solutions to desires.


When not working, I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend. I’m learning Fusion 360, 3D Printing and I do burn a lot of calories talking about going to the gym!

I joined PSA Financial Services Ltd in 2022, having previously worked as a Will Writer. I have experience in financial services support roles and prior to my civilian career, I was in the 1st battalion Grenadier Guards. During this time, I played a key role in multiple NATO joint exercises and ceremonial duties such as Trouping the Colour and the Queen’s Guard. 
 
I am currently working on furthering my qualifications to enhance my knowledge and to obtain my diploma in financial planning.
 
In my spare time I enjoy shooting, fishing, and spending time in the gym.

Alina Khan

I joined PSA Financial Services in March 2023, having worked in the Financial Services Industry for 5+ years in various roles.  Most notably I have experience as an investment analyst and paraplanner.  I graduated from the University of Leicester with a First-Class Hons Degree in Financial Economics and am currently working towards my Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, to further develop my knowledge and apply it to client reports and advice.

 

I believe family is of utmost importance, so I spend as much of my spare time as I can enjoying the company of my loved ones. When I’m not spending time with family, I like to cook and try new recipes. I also love reading, playing scrabble and recently found enjoyment in badminton.

I joined PSA Financial Services Ltd in July 2021 having worked in the Financial Services Industry since 2007, predominantly within the mortgage sector, both advising and as a paraplanner and more recently in portfolio management for investments. I have expanded my knowledge across a range of services and very much enjoy working in the paraplanning field.

 

My industry qualifications include Certificate of Education in Mortgage advice and Practice and the investment Advice Diploma level 4.

I joined PSA Financial Services Ltd in 2009 as Senior Administrator, having worked for Berkeley Burke and Beckett Financial Services. 

​My qualifications cover business finance and administration.

 

My duties are varied assisting the Director, Consultants and Compliance Department.  I also provide a range of administrative and support services for all members of staff. I am also a Mental Health First Aider here at PSA.

Prior to joining PSA, I worked within the Compliance Department of a Mortgage & Protection network, after working in the mortgage department of a Building Society.  I have over 6 years’ experience within the financial industry and my knowledge of the sector is growing every day at PSA.

I joined PSA Financial Services Ltd in June 2022, as an Administrator having worked in financial services since 2017. I graduated from DeMontfort University in 2013 specializing in financial modules. 

 

My role primarily consists of supporting financial advisors and support staff with administrative tasks, which includes processing Letters of Authority and liaising with providers to obtain policy information.  I am looking to study for my industry exams to broaden my knowledge within the financial services industry, with my long-term aim to become a qualified Paraplanner.

 

I am a family man with two children, whom I spend most of my time with outside of work.  I also enjoy going to the gym, running for charities, socializing with family and friends, and watching the football - I am a Liverpool supporter!

My role consists of supporting Financial advisers with administrative tasks.

Eventually, I see myself progressing with the PSA and obtaining the qualifications needed to become a paraplanner.

I joined PSA in January 2023 after travelling for 3 months in Australia, Southeast Asia and Indonesia. I graduated from De Montfort University with a First-Class honours degree in Global Finance (BSc) which involved a yearlong placement working at Hinckley & Rugby Building Society, as a Treasury & Regulatory Accounts Assistant.
 
I am currently on PSA’s Graduate Training Scheme which will provide me the opportunity to be in, and understand the workings of each department, with the end goal to become a fully qualified Independent Financial Adviser.
 
My hobbies include playing and watching football, I am a Chelsea fan. I also enjoy travelling and experiencing new cuisines

I have worked in various professional offices as a receptionist, secretary, PA and paralegal.  I started working at PSA (Financial Services) Ltd at the beginning of August 2021 and am thoroughly enjoying being part of the team.

 

I am local to the area and am a proud mother of two grown up children.  Along with my son, I am a keen Leicester City supporter.  I also love gardening when I can, however, I seem to spend most of my spare time wandering the streets and fields with my two dogs!

I have worked at PSA Financial Services Ltd since 2013 as an administrator and started running the company's digital media in late 2020. 

My role is to manage the social media accounts, website and all the digital media for the company. I also offer client support and perform administrative tasks for the consultants such as policy research.
